Solai: Community-Driven AI

Demand for AI is exploding and data is still in the blind spot. Therefore we suggest Solai, Community-Driven AI backed by Federated Learning and Solana Blockchain.

Before diving in, the following terms will make it easy to understand what Solai will do :

• Local Model: AI model that is locally trained with the participant's data on the participant's device

• Global Model: What we aim to train. Local models are aggregated into a global model. Different global models can form multiple branches existing concurrently.

• Decentralized Storage: Filecoin, IPFS

• Participant: Entities that participate in training the global model. There exist two roles: trainer and evaluator. The same participant can play both roles.

• Trainer: Participant that trains the local model with their data

• Evaluator: Participant that evaluates trainers' local model with their data
